The Akron Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a 26-year-old man dead.
The shooting happened Monday around 4:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Chandler Avenue.
When authorities arrived, they found the man lying on the ground at the back of the home.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His identity has not been released.
