GREEN, Ohio — Three people were shot at a gathering inside an apartment in Green early Thursday morning, according to the Summit County Sheriff's Office.
Rayshawn K. Simmons, 22, of Canton, was arrested and charged with possession of drugs and trafficking in drugs.
At around 12:15 a.m., deputies responded to Schneiderman Drive in Green for reports of a shooting.
Two men were found with gunshots wounds. A few minutes later, deputies responded to a report of a man with gunshot wounds on South Main Street, which is approximately .5 mile from the shooting scene on Schneiderman Drive.
All three men were transported to Cleveland Clinic Akron General. One of the men was treated and released.
The two other victims remain hospitalized. One is in serious condition and the other has life-threatening injuries.
Simmons was booked into the Summit County Jail. It's unknown at this time if Simmons was one of the three people shot.
