Four men are under arrest after overdosing at an Akron halfway house Tuesday evening.

Staff at the Terrence Mann Residential Center on Glenwood Avenue called police when the four men started acting 'erratically' around 5:20 p.m.

Kerry E. Boyer, 37, Rodney L. Davis, 25, John A. Syroid, 33 and Jake Johnson, 29, were taken to local hospitals were they were treated for drug overdoses.

They were then taken to Summit County Jail to face additional charges.

The Terrence Mann Residential Center is operated by Oriana House, Inc. Since the incident, the company has restricted the movement of clients, allowing them to only leave for approved employment and medical appointments.

In January, six inmates were treated for overdoses at an Oriana House location on East Crosier Road in Akron.
