AKRON, Ohio — A man in his 50s was found shot and killed inside his vehicle behind a business in East Akron Thursday afternoon, according to a release from the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office.
On Thursday at around 12:00 p.m., Akron fire and police personnel responded to a business in the 600 block of South Arlington Street where they found a 58-year-old man inside a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was pronounced dead at 12:19 p.m.
The medical examiner’s office will provide an update once there is a positive identification.
The homicide remains under investigation.
