LAKEMORE, Ohio — The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office and the Lakemore Police Department are investigating after a 63-year-old man was shot and killed after an argument with his roommate, according to a news release.
On Monday shortly before 4 p.m., the 63-year-old victim and his roommate got into a verbal argument at their residence in the 2500 block of South Street in Lakemore.
The victim and his roommate went outside where the fight continued, resulting in the victim being shot in the chest.
The 63-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene at around 4:08 p.m.
Once the medical examiner has made a positive identification and next-of-kin has been notified, authorities will give an update.
