Akron Police are investigating a crash that left a 66-year-old woman dead Monday.
The crash happened at 5:45 p.m. on Akron Peninsula Road.
According to authorities, the woman was driving northbound when she suddenly went off the right side of the road and hit a pole, causing the vehicle to flip.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her identity has not been released.
