Police are investigating a shooting that happened Thursday night where a house was shot up with three children inside.
The shooting happened in the 800 block of Sumner Street around 9:30 p.m.
A 9-year-old, 11-year-old and 16-year-old were downstairs in the home when gunfire erupted outside and several bullets struck the house, authorities said. The bullets passed through the front wall and into the home. No one was injured in the shooting.
Police didn't say if the shooting was intentional or if the house was hit with stray gunfire.
There are no suspects at this time. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Akron police.
