Akron man charged for attempting to distribute 35 pounds of cocaine, facing federal charge

CLEVELAND — An Akron man is facing a federal charge after allegedly trying to traffic 35 pounds of cocaine, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Warren D. Morrow, 49, was indicted this week on a charge of attempted possession with intent to distribute.

Morrow was indicted on Thursday by a federal grand jury. Authorities Morrow “did knowingly and intentionally possess and attempt to distribute 16 kilograms, or 35 pounds, of a substance containing cocaine."
