Akron police arrest six students after fight at East High School

AKRON, Ohio — A fight broke out at an Akron high school on Wednesday.

Police said they received a call from East High School before 10:30 a.m. about a fight in the cafeteria.

Two students got into a fight, then four others joined in, according to police.

Twelve police cruisers responded to the school.

None of the students needed medical attention.

All six students were arrested and face charges including rioting.

Five of the students are at least 18 years old.
