The Akron Police Department is investigating the case of a missing 18-year-old woman.
Samantha Guthrie's mother reported her missing Nov. 5.
Her mother said that after Guthrie turned 18 in May, she left the house.
Guthrie was last seen on Nov. 4 at a house in the 300 block of Lillian Street.
Detectives believe she is missing under suspicious circumstances.
Guthrie is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 155 pounds. She has blonde or strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes. Guthrie has a butterfly and an owl tattoo on her right forearm. She also has the word "Believe" surrounded by designs on her left forearm.
Anyone with information about Guthrie's location or suspicious activity on or around Nov. 4 is asked to call the Akron Police Department Detective Bureau at 330-375-2490.
