AKRON, Ohio — Akron police are investing after three teenagers were shot at and one was injured Friday night.

Around 11:30 p.m., officers responded to the 1400 block of Roslyn Avenue where they found a 15-year-old boy who had been shot in the arm by an unknown individual, police said.

The boy was taken to Akron Children’s Hospital for treatment and his injury is not considered to be life-threatening, according to police.

During the initial investigation, officers spoke with two 16-year-old boys who said they had been shot at by an unknown individual while in the 1500 block of Diagonal Road. Officers discovered that a home nearby had been struck by gunfire. No injuries were reported in that incident, police said.

The shooting remains under investigation.
