AKRON, Ohio — The Akron Police Department is investigating after officers found a body inside a burning car on Bank Street Tuesday morning.
Multiple officers responded with the Akron Fire Department to the 1000 block of Bank Street at around 2:00 a.m. for a vehicle on fire.
After firefighters extinguished the burning vehicle, they found 29-year-old Symphonee Smith's body.
The 29-year-old's cause of death has not been released.
