AKRON, Ohio — Akron police are investigating after a man and a toddler were found dead in a driveway of an apartment building Sunday morning.
Around 10 a.m., officers responded to the 400 block of Crouse Street where they found a 43-year-old man and a female toddler unresponsive in the driveway of a home.
The man and the child were both pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy, but the names of the man and the child are being withheld pending positive identification and family notifications, according to police.
Police said the investigation is in the early stages and no additional information was able to be provided at this time.
