AKRON, Ohio — Akron police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 37-year-old man.
The shooting happened at 2:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of Vernon Odom Boulevard.
When police arrived, they found the man on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to police, an unknown person approached the man and fired multiple shots before fleeing the scene.
No arrests have been made.
The man was later identified as Antwaine Bethune, from Akron.
