AKRON, Ohio — An Akron protester is recovering after being struck by a truck during a George Floyd demonstration.
Police said the accident happened at East Market and South Main streets.
Officials said the accident involved a blue pick up truck and a protester that was in the street.
Police did not specify about what happened between the two parties.
The protester's injuries were not serious, according to police.
Police said the driver of the truck called them and an officer responded.
No charges have been filed at this time.
