BARBERTON, Ohio — Emergency crews were called to a crash involving a car and a CSX train in Barberton Saturday afternoon, according to Barberton police.
The crash occurred at the tracks on Fairview Avenue near Norton Avenue around 2:18 p.m., police said.
An individual inside of the car was killed in the crash, according to CSX.
Crew members on the train were not injured, CSX said.
The Barberton Fire Department is currently at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
