CANTON, Ohio — Canton fire investigators are seeking help from the public to solve several possible arson fires that occurred over the past few days on the city’s northeast side.

According to its Facebook page, Canton City Fire Department said the locations of the fire are:

The fire on Lawrence Road destroyed a vacant house and an occupied home early Monday morning. Damage to siding was also on done to three other homes.

The fire on Rex Avenue destroyed a vacant two-story home on Wednesday.

The 13th Street fire damaged a two-story vacant warehouse on Monday just before 4:30 p.m. The plume of smoke ascended hundreds of feet in to the air that could be seen miles away. Firefighters used aerials to battle the blaze.

Firefighters have not determined a cause for any of the blazes, or if any of them are connected. Captain Derek Paige said a team of investigators is looking every possibility, including arson.

"If someone is starting fires, obviously it puts us all at risk-- the firefighters, the citizens and the neighborhood," Paige said.

Investigators are collecting evidence from the fires and seeking video from the neighborhoods.

"There is concern until we figure out what's going on here," Paige said.

If you have information regarding these fires, contact the fire department at (330) 489-3420 or email them at fpb@cantonohio.gov.
