CANTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a woman was injured in a shooting in Canton Township Thursday morning.
Deputies responded at around 3:48 a.m. to a home in the 1100 block of Oak Avenue Northwest in reference to a shooting.
Deputies located a woman with an apparent gunshot wound. She was transported by the Canton Township Fire Department where she is being treated for her injury. The extent of her injury is unknown at this time.
