AKRON, Ohio — A fugitive wanted for firing a gun during a domestic dispute was arrested in the 1400 block of Rockaway Street by the U.S. Marshal’s Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force Monday morning.
Jonviare Small, 19, was sought by Akron police for the shooting that occurred on April 25 at around 7:40 a.m. in the 800 block of Peerless Avenue.
When police got there, they found several people were outside the home when Small allegedly fired several shots at them during the domestic dispute.
Police said no one was injured at the time, but bullets struck the home, which was occupied.
Small was charged with felonious assault and improperly discharging firearms. He remains in custody at the Summit County Jail.
