GREEN, Ohio — Students at Green High School are giving a helping hand to residents in need of some extra help to rake and bag leaves on Saturday, Nov. 21, according to News 5 media partner The Akron Beacon Journal.

Mayor Gerard Neugebauer said the priority will be given to senior citizens, disabled and veteran residents.

There is no fee for residents, but the student rakers and baggers will be collecting non-perishable food items for the school district’s Blessings in a Backpack program.

To register for the program, call 330-896-6933 or complete a form on the city’s website here.
