AKRON, Ohio — A man who worked with patients with disability has been charged with assault and patient abuse.
Akron police said William Morgan, 48, has been charged with two fourth-degree felonies because the victims were "totally disabled."
The incident happened on Sept. 3.
Morgan was reported by his employer, which police have not identified.
According to the police report, surveillance video showed Morgan slapping, dragging and hitting the victims. He would also walk around the group home naked while in the presence of the victim and would leave them unattended.
