GREEN, Ohio — A 43-year-old man was arrested after he was caught attempting to steal a boat after attempting to break into a winery in Green Wednesday.
The Summit County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary in progress at Nauti Vine Winery on South Main Street on Wednesday after receiving a call that a man was attempting to break into the winery.
Once on scene, deputies found 43-year-old Larry Dean Jr. on the winery’s property inside of a boat, which deputies said he was attempting to steal.
The man was identified as the attempted burglar and was arrested, according to deputies.
Dean was charged with breaking and entering and theft and was booked into the Summit County Jail, deputies said.
Deputies later confirmed that Dean had also stolen a Lexus from a dealership on July 2. The vehicle was recovered by authorities.
