AKRON, Ohio — A 22-year-old man wanted for breaking into a home and assaulting a woman on Wednesday was captured by the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.
Terrance McCormick, 22, is facing charges of aggravated robbery, burglary, domestic violence, domestic violence menacing and criminal damaging. He is facing an additional charge of having weapons under disability, according to police.
Authorities say that on Wednesday, McCormick broke into a 22-year-old woman’s home and attacked her at gunpoint.
The task force located him at Thursday morning in the 2100 block of 5th Street SW, in Akron. Police located three handguns, ammunition and marijuana in the residence where McCormick was arrested at, authorities said.
Following the arrest, McCormick was taken to the Summit County Jail.
