CANTON, Ohio — A Canton man has been arrested for the shooting death of Renee Russell, who was found slumped over with a gunshot wound in her car in March, according to News 5 media partner the Canton Repository.
Tahi A. Nelson, 40, of Canton, was arrested Thursday and charged with her death.
On March 8, Russell was found dead inside her 2009 Saturn Vue from a gunshot wound, police said.
According to the Canton Repository, police have not released any information about the relationship between Nelson and Russell at this time, but records obtained by the newspaper show property listed as Nelson’s home address from jail records as being owned by Russell.
