A wheelchair bound man was shot in the head while sitting on the front porch of a home on East Avenue in Akron late Thursday.
Akron police said the man suffered a gunshot wound to the top of the head. The wound was not considered life-threatening.
Police said the victim was paralyzed after he had been shot when he was a teenager in the early 2000's.
This shooting was the third in about a month along East Avenue between Garth and Wildwood avenues.
No suspect information has been released.
