A man who was shot on Copley Road on Tuesday has died, police reported.
Police said just before 2 p.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to a shooting in the 800 block of Copley Road.
Officers located a man in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to his torso.
The man was taken to Akron General Medical Center, according to police. He later died at the facility.
Police said the investigation is in the preliminary stage and no further information is available at this time.
