Man wanted for two Akron homicides captured by U.S. Marshals

AKRON, Ohio — A fugitive wanted in connection with two homicides in the Akron area this year was captured by the U.S. Marshals Service Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Akron Police Department, Coley Richardson, 42, was arrested in the 800 block of 5th Avenue around 12:30 p.m.

Richardson has been identified as a suspect in the fatal shooting of Nicole S. Coleman in June.

Authorities said that Richardson is also responsible for the homicide of a man named Freddy Todd on April 10.

He is currently being held in the Summit County Jail on two counts of murder.
