MI woman arrested after troopers seize $105,000 worth of meth, crack during Summit Co. traffic stop

SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio — State troopers seized $105,000 worth of methamphetamine and crack cocaine during a traffic stop in Summit County on June 4.

Erika K. Jones, 23, of Roseville, Michigan, was arrested and charged with possession and trafficking in methamphetamine and crack cocaine, all first-degree felonies.

On June 4 at around 3:26 p.m., troopers stopped a vehicle for following too close and a no headlight violations on the Ohio Turnpike.

During the stop, troopers detected an odor of burnt marijuana and locate marijuana in plain view, leading troopers to conduct a probable search.

Two pounds of meth and 2 ounces of crack cocaine were found inside the vehicle.

Jones was taken into custody at the Summit County Jail.

If convicted, she could face 44 years in prison and a fine of $88,000.
