One person who was rescued from an Akron house fire on Sunday died Monday morning, according to the Akron Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to 104 Crosier Street around 12:45 a.m. on Sunday. A person who was trapped inside was rescued and taken to an area hospital, according to officials. The person died at the hospital Monday morning.
First responders said there was heavy fire coming from the house. They also said there was a total of three people inside the home.
According to the Akron Fire Department, there was a downed power line, and Ohio Edison quickly responded to the hazard.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
