Reward offered for arrest, conviction of shooter who killed 1-year-old twin brother in Canton

CANTON — The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the death of 1-year-old Ace Lucas, of Canton, who was hit by gunfire while sleeping in his bed.

Stark County Crimestoppers is also offering a $500 reward for a combined total of $5,500.

The shooting happened on July 22 in the 1600 block of Clarendon Avenue SW.

According to police, Ace was sleeping when bullets tore through the house and struck him and his twin brother. Ace was transported to a nearby hospital and later died. His brother was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have released surveillance video of three people seen outside Ace's home prior to the shooting.
