STARK COUNTY, Ohio — The Stark Area Regional Transit Authority is rolling out a new amenity to make using its Proline point-to-point service more convenient.

GoLine Express check begins Monday. The new, fully automated telephone system allows riders to instantly confirm or cancel Proline trips 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

Users will need to know their Proline client number and password when accessing the system.

Anyone who does not know or has forgotten their password may obtain it by contacting a Proline customer service representative at 330-455-2292.

Booking via GoLine ExpressCheck is simple
• Call 330-430-1745
• Follow the voice prompts
• Enter Client number
• Enter password
• Press 1 to confirm a ride
• Press 2 to cancel a ride

Proline users can schedule trips up to three days in advanced via GoLine's online booking system Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. To schedule the same-day trips, users must contact a ProLine Representative at 330-455-2292 to verify availability. All trips will be confirmed online and by email.

The new feature is a piece of an improved scheduling system that SARTA rolled out last year, but the COVID-19 Pandemic forced a delay in the debut.

It will put an end to lengthy delays that users experienced when calling via phone.

“We’ve heard of people being on the line on hold for up to 30 minutes or even longer than that. So the is really going to help people out, to not have to wait on those trips. These trips are going to the doctor, going to dialysis,” SARTA Executive Director/ CEO Kirt Conrad said. “These are the kind of trips for the most fragile in our community. So we just want try to make their trip and their interaction with us as simple as possible.”
