Steelers, Cowboys to play in Hall of Fame Game in Canton

CANTON, Ohio — The Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers are coming to Canton to kickoff the NFL season in the Hall of Fame Game in August.

The Steelers and Cowboys will go head-to-head inside Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium on Aug. 6 at 8 p.m. at the start of the 2020 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week.

Both the Steelers and the Cowboys have played in six previous Hall of Fame games, both holding 3-3 records in the annual preseason classic.

Former coaches and players who have been selected for induction into the Hall of Fame represent both teams. Former Steelers coach Bill Cower and safety Troy Polamalu will be enshrined into the Hall of Fame. Former Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson will also be enshrined into the hall of Fame.

A special Seniors class will be enshrined as part of the Centennial Class and included former Cowboys safety Cliff Harris and former Steelers safety Donnie Shell.

Tickets for the 2020 Hall of Fame Game in Canton go on sale on Friday, March 13 at 10 a.m.
