GREEN, Ohio — A man from the City of the Green has been arrested on felony charges after an investigation by the Summit County Sheriff’s Office resulted in the discovery of an illegal gaming operation inside his home.

Adam Syed, 37, of Green, was charged with gambling and operating a gaming house, both fifth-degree felonies, according to a news release.

The sheriff’s office started an investigation into illegal gambling and drugs after receiving complaints about high vehicle traffic at a residence on Beechnut Drive in Green.

While executing a search warrant on May 9, deputies confiscated gambling equipment, a firearm and suspected illegal drugs inside the home.
