AKRON, Ohio — During this nontraditional Fourth of July, the city of Akron has worked to bring a fireworks show to residents in a socially distanced fashion, with four different shows planned across the city.

Fireworks will be launched from four locations in Akron: Summit Lake, Patterson Park ballfields, Akron Executive Airport and the State Street parking deck downtown. The display will be set to patriotic music on 97.5 WONE.
