AKRON, Ohio — The Greater Akron Chamber has apologized for tweeting out a photo of the wrong city's skyline on Thursday. The chamber posted a picture of Dayton, Ohio, not Akron, with a caption that asked local business to join the organization, according to the Akron Beacon Journal/Ohio.com.
Chamber officials called the tweet an “honest mistake” and deleted the post.
As a way to make amends with Akron residents, the Chamber has put out a call for photos of the city.
