AKRON, Ohio — A 24-year-old woman has died after she was stabbed multiple times on Nome Avenue in West Akron, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office.
On Wednesday, just after midnight, officers responded to the 1100 block of Nome Avenue in Akron where they found Sara Stubbs inside a residence with multiple stab wounds.
Stubbs was transported to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center where she later died from her injuries at around 12:52 a.m. Her death has been ruled a homicide.
