The City of Alliance Police Department arrested a man who allegedly attempted to kidnap a child in Alliance on Sunday.
According to authorities, detectives arrested the man in Columbiana County later that evening.
Police say the child is safe, and the man was taken into custody.
The case was later presented to a grand jury for consideration of charges, and they issued a no bill, declining to indict him.
