Ashtabula woman arrested for Elyria fatal shooting

ELYRIA — An Ashtabula woman was arrested late Friday night for the death of an Elyria woman.

According to Elyria police, the suspect, Brea Holley, 27, is charged with one count of murder, a first-degree felony.

The shooting happened around 10:47 p.m. in the 400 block of Beebe Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found a 29-year-old woman with a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 29-year-old's identity has not been released.
