The East Cleveland Police Department is investigating after a badly decomposed body was found behind a vacant funeral home Sunday.
Authorities said the body was found in the 15300 block of Euclid Avenue.
Police contacted the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office after the body was discovered.
A preliminary cause of death hasn't been released.
The body will be identified once next of kin has been contacted.
