Canton man facing felony OVI charge after state troopers pull him over for fifth OVI offense

GREEN, Ohio — A Canton man is facing a felony OVI charge after state troopers pulled him over for his fifth OVI offense, according to a release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Delton Everett was arrested in Green on I-77 southbound near milepost 113.

Troopers said he had previously been convicted of a felony OVI offense, making this offense a felony of the third degree.

Everett is scheduled to appear in Barberton Municipal Court on July 8 at 9 a.m.

The OSHP encourages motorists to dial #677 to report reckless or impaired motorists.
