The Cleveland Division of Fire responded to a house fire early Monday morning on the city's East Side and ended up rescuing three people trapped on a roof.
It happened just after 3:30 a.m. in the 3900 block of East 86th Street.
Firefighters used a ladder to help the three people down. No one was injured.
The Red Cross is assisting the residents.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
