Cleveland EMS said one person had died after a crash on I-480 eastbound.
The crash happened around 11:15 p.m. Thursday.
Heavy smoke could be seen from a charred truck that was turned on its side and another car was destroyed.
A 61-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 22-year-old woman was transported to Metro Hospital in stable condition.
The interstate was shut down overnight while police investigated.
