15-year-old arrested for multiple carjackings, assaults, kidnapping

CLEVELAND — A 15-year-old boy has been arrested by Cleveland police for multiple carjackings, assaults and kidnapping.

On Feb. 17, a woman left her vehicle running in a driveway on West 31st Street with her 3-year-old and 6-year-old children inside while she walked up the driveway.

The teen entered the car and drove off, according to police.

Police said he then threw the kids from the vehicle onto the street.

On Feb. 21, a woman was at Caribe Bake Shop on Fulton Road, when the teen took her keys, assaulted her and drove off in her car, police said.

Then, on Feb. 22, a man was warming up his car on West 32nd Street, when the teen approached him and stole his vehicle, according to police.

Police said the man tried to grab onto the car and the teen dragged him, causing multiple injuries.

On Feb. 25, the 15-year-old robbed a woman at Sackett and Scranton Avenues at gunpoint and stole her vehicle.

According to police, the 15-year-old crashed the vehicle he had taken on Feb. 25 on I-90.

The 15-year-old was arrested.
