CLEVELAND — Two brothers were killed in an early morning shooting in Cleveland’s Lee-Miles neighborhood, according to Cleveland police.

Around 1:25 a.m., officers were called to the 16100 block of Walden Avenue for reports of shots fired.

EMS arrived on the scene and found two men who had been shot multiple times on the sidewalk.

One of the men, later identified by the county medical examiner's office as Delvonte King, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

King's 26-year-old brother was also shot and was transported to University Hospitals where he was later pronounced dead, according to police.

Police learned on scene that the two brothers lived at the location of the shooting. Delvonte King was standing in his driveway talking to his brother, who was sitting in a Jeep, when two unknown males in masks approached them, fired at them and fled the scene on foot, police said.

The shooting remains under investigation. The name of the 26-year-old who was killed has not been released by the medical examiner's office at this time.
