21-year-old woman dies after allegedly being shot by boyfriend in Cleveland, police say

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland police are investigating after a woman was shot and killed earlier this week.

According to police, the shooting happened on Wednesday near East 65th Street and Regent Road in the city’s North Broadway neighborhood.

Officers administered first-aid to the woman, but she was later pronounced dead. Her identity has not been released.

Authorities said it appears the woman went to her 57-year-old boyfriend’s house and an argument ensued and she was shot in the face.

The boyfriend, who has not been identified, has been arrested. His charges have not been announced.

The shooting remains under investigation.
