CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating after a 31-year-old man was stabbed to death at the West Boulevard-Cudell RTA station Tuesday morning.

The victim, later identified by the medical examiner as Juan Odio, was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

A witness told News 5 at the scene that it appeared there was some type of argument before the stabbing.

"They were screaming, arguing," said Justin Coyne who said he was at the RTA station waiting for a ride when the attack happened.

Coyne said he saw the man pull out a knife and stab the victim.

"What went through my mind was 'wow, this is crazy," said Coyne. "This just happened in my own area. This shouldn't have happened."

Investigators confirmed the person accused of the stabbing is in custody.

Police have not released the names of the victim nor the man they have in custody for the attack.
