Cleveland Metro police are investigating an accident involving a child.
Police said a 6-year-old was struck by a vehicle on East 79th Street and Woodland Avenue.
The victim was transported to Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in stable condition.
The driver did stop.
The cause of the crash is unknown.
