Nearly a decade of silence has been broken.
Amanda Berry, one of the women held for years in the house of Ariel Castro, sat down for an exclusive interview with News 5's Danita Harris.
Berry escaped nearly three and a half years ago after being held for nearly a decade in Castro's home on Seymour Avenue in Cleveland.
She became pregnant while held captive. Castro used her and the other women as sex slaves. Berry called her daughter Jocelyn a "bright light" that made her captivity bearable.
Now, Berry finally comes out with all the chilling details of her time in captivity and how she's worked to put her live together since escaping to freedom.
