The driver said he was parked on East 154th Street delivering a package and noticed a dark blue vehicle behind his van.
When he made another delivery on the same road just a few houses down, the same vehicle was parked next to his van. As he was walking toward the passenger side, a man pointed a gun at him through the window and took off in the Amazon van.
The Amazon van was later found empty and unoccupied in the area of East 131st Street and Aulcash Avenue, according to police.
Police said the Amazon driver was not injured during the robbery.
The van was recovered near a library, which had video footage of the Amazon van and the blue vehicle, which was a Chevy Equinox.
Video also captured the individuals involved in the robbery get out of the vehicles, empty the Amazon packages into the Chevy and leave the scene.
