CLEVELAND — One of three men accused of killing a Cleveland couple and their dog at their car dealership pleaded guilty Monday.

Andrew Keener pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and grand theft in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas.

Trina Kuznik, her husband, Michael, and their dog, Axl, were found dead inside their business on April 14, 2017.

They had all been shot. The killers took two cars and cash.

Just weeks before their death, Trina Kuznik talked to 5 On Your Side Investigators. As part of a report about Cleveland’s response times, she told us how Cleveland officers had repeatedly failed to answer her calls for help about break-ins at her business.

"This is not just me,” she said. “Everybody on the street will tell you the same thing. All the business over here just don't bother anymore because it almost feels pointless."

When we asked if she would call police again, Kuznik foreshadowed her death. She said, “Probably not. What would be the point? Unless someone's shooting at me. Maybe then.”

The two other men accused of the murders, Jerome Diggs, Jr. and Joseph Mcalpin have yet to go to trial.

Keener is scheduled to be sentenced April 29.
